Implementing the plan No. 4352/KH-ĐHTCM dated December 4, 2025, of the University of Finance and Marketing to organise the Conference of Officials and Employees 2026, the Institute of International Political Economy (IPE) organised the Conference at 14:00, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Room B.001, Headquarters 778 Nguyen Kiem.

Ms. Nguyen Hoang Phuong Nhi declared the reasons, introduced the delegates, and conducted the election of the praesidium and secretariat of the conference.

 

The Praesidium chaired the Conference, including Dr Lai Van Nam - Director, Dr Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy Director, and MSc Le Thi Thuy - Chairman of the Union.

 

Dr Lai Van NamDirector, at the beginning of the conference, briefly presented the Draft Report on the results of the implementation of work tasks in 2025, as well as the directions and tasks of the Institute in 2026.

 

The Institute's secretary, MSc Nguyen Nu Thanh Tam, provided a report on IPE revenue, expenses, and financial utilisation from September 15, 2025, to December 31, 2025. After then, MSc Le Thi Thuy, the chairman of the Union, provided an update on the performance of the IPE Union in 2025 as well as the 2026 emulation plan.

 

Dr Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Director, chairing the session of gathering thoughts from participants attending the Conference, remarked on: 1. Draft Report on the results of the implementation of work tasks in 2025 and directions and tasks in 2026 of the Institute; 2. Draft Report on the results of the implementation of work tasks in 2025 and directions and tasks in 2026 of the University; 3. Draft Report on the results of the Trade Union activities in 2025, as well as the intention to establish the university's trade union's emulation campaign in 2026. 4. Prepare a Draft Report on the People's Inspection Board's operations in 2025, as well as its directives and duties for 2026.

 

Finally, the Praesidium of the Executive Committee elected delegates to attend the University’s Conference of Officials and Employees (20 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates) and approved the Resolution of the Conference of Officials and Employees of the Institute of International Political Economy, which called on all Institute officials/employees to work tirelessly and unite to successfully complete the teaching tasks, scientific research, enrollment in 3 new majors at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, well-perform tasks and work in accordance with the University's assignment and direction, and continute to be a unit that excels at its tasks in 2026.
